What is Ovimoda?
Ovimoda is jewelry that features the picture of the moon from the date of your choice. Pick any date you want to commemorate – the birth of a child, an anniversary, a graduation – and find the exact moon phase through our moon phase calculator. Once you have selected your date, choose from our collection of bracelets, necklaces and more to carry your detailed high resolution image. As an added bonus, your moon will gently glow in the dark, reminding you of that special moment.
Does Ovimoda actually glow in the dark?
All of our collection is designed to absorb any light in order to charge it. In darker environments, your Ovimoda jewelry will glow gently, mimicking the moon in the sky.
Does Ovimoda Jewelry tarnish over time?
Ovimoda Jewelry is made of high quality materials to prevent tarnishing over time. However, like anything else, it will experience a natural life cycle as well as normal wear & tear. We will happily replace any defective products within 30 days of delivery. Otherwise, treat your hand-made jewelry with care in order to extend the lifetime of the product.
Are Your Moon Phases Accurate?
Yes. The goal of our jewelry is to show an accurate photograph of the moon on any given date. We want you to look at your Ovimoda and see exactly what was visible to the naked eye on the date of your choice. While percentages of the moon’s illumination can vary by up to 3%, the phases assigned to the dates are calculated to reflect the changes that we can see from here on Earth!
Can I wear my Ovimoda in the shower, pool, or ocean?
In short, no. Water durability for Ovimoda jewelry depends on which item you’ve purchased and what metal that style is made out of. Our jewelry will not immediately tarnish or turn green/black when it gets wet. Pewter, silver-plated, and stainless steel charms should be fine if briefly exposed to water, but in moderation. Just like anything else, too much exposure to anything will cause harm the item over time. Keep in mind, the pendants are a photograph of the moon, sealed with acrylic covering the photo. The photo could be damaged if water somehow seeps in between the metal exterior of the pedant and the acrylic coating reaching the photo. This is not very likely, but extended or excessive exposure to water increases this risk of damage. The water durability for chains also depends on their metal type. Pewter is not recommended to water exposure. Sterling silver and rhodium coated chains should be fine if moderately exposed to water, but again, in moderation and keeping them clean with appropriate cleaner is also suggested.
Is Your jewelry magnetic? Is it safe to wear with a pacemaker?
Our products may contain magnetic properties. Please consult with your doctor if you are sensitive to magnetic components.
Do you sell Ovimoda at events and in stores?
Yes. Ovimoda is sold in over 500 stores throughout North America, Europe, and Australia. We also attend a number of events throughout the U.S. each year.
I have allergies, is it okay to wear Ovimoda?

Shipping within the United States
Orders will generally ship within 1 business day from the time of purchase. Your order will be shipped via USPS First Class Mail unless you select an expedited shipping method. Orders placed on Friday, Saturday or Sunday will be shipped on Monday.
We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, or on major holidays.
International Shipping Policy
Ovimoda Jewelry has branches in the United States, Australia, and Canada.
UK + EU SHIPPING
Ovimoda offers duty free shipping to the UK and Europe. This means, that your package will arrive directly to your mailing address, without the need to pay any additional charges for customs/duties. Shipping takes 5-10 business days to arrive and is free for orders over $75. Otherwise, shipping is $8 for the UK and $15 for EU.
CANADA
Ovimoda is proud to offer our Canadian customers their very own dedicated Ovimoda Canada website. Orders ship from within Canada and do not require customs/duties. We offer free shipping on orders over $75. Standard shipping costs $10 and takes 7-10 business days to arrive. We also offer Express Shipping to select locations for $15 which takes 3-5 business days.
REST OF THE WORLD
Shipping to the rest of the world typically takes 7-15 business days to arrive. Unless the prepaid duties option is selected at checkout, your delivery will be subject to local customs/duties in accordance to any import laws imposed by your country. These duties/customs will need to be paid in order to receive your shipment. Ovimoda recommends to select the prepaid duties option to avoid any delays that may occur due to customs. To view available shipping rates to your location, please enter your mailing address at checkout. You will be able to see specific shipping options for your address.
Return Policy
UNITED STATES: If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you have 30 days from the date you receive your purchase to return or exchange your purchased item, no questions asked.
INTERNATIONAL: We do not offer exchanges or returns on international orders outside of the United States. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, please contact customer service for additional assistance. In the case of extreme circumstances, international returns may be charged a $25 processing fee to account for return shipping + duties & taxes.
